The MSI PRO B840-P WIFI AMD AM5 ATX motherboard is designed to support AMD Ryzen 9000, 8000, and 7000 Series Desktop Processors. Featuring Socket AM5 and four DDR5 UDIMM slots, this motherboard allows a maximum memory capacity of 256GB. It supports DDR5 memory with speeds ranging from 8000 MT/s (overclocked) to 4800 MT/s (JEDEC). For Ryzen 9000 Series processors, overclocking speeds can reach up to 8000+ MT/s with 1DPC 1R configurations. The AMD B840 supports dual-channel mode, non-ECC un-buffered memory, and CUDIMM with clock driver bypass mode. It includes comprehensive memory compatibility and overclocking support, including AMD EXPO. Graphics outputs include an HDMI 2.1 port supporting up to 4K 60Hz resolution, available only on processors with integrated graphics. The motherboard features five PCI-E x16 slots with various Gen PCIe support, including PCIe 4.0 x16 for Ryzen 9000 and 7000 Series processors. It supports Realtek® ALC897 7.1-Channel High Definition Audio and has two M.2 slots for high-speed storage, with support for RAID 0, RAID 1, and RAID 10 for SATA devices.
